In order to build a little friendly competition on Give to the Max Day, GiveMN has created a number of Leaderboards grouping nonprofits and schools by size, region, and higher education institutions.
There are no prizes associated with our Bragging Rights Leaderboards. Prize grants are only awarded for Golden Tickets and Power Hours.
Which organizations are represented on GTMD20 Bragging Rights Leaderboards?
Approximately 3,000 organizations who register for Give to the Max Day are displayed on Leaderboards. Registration is required for organizations to appear on Bragging Rights Leaderboards. Non-registered organizations are still eligible to receive gifts and win Early Giving, Hourly, and Super-Sized Golden Tickets.
How are organizations grouped on Leaderboards?
For size: We use budget data provided by each organization to group them by size. Large organizations have budgets totaling more than $1 million. Intermediate organizations have budgets totaling from $500,000-$999,999. Medium organizations have budgets totaling from $100,000-$499,999. Small organizations have budgets totaling under $100,000.
Minnesota region: We used the Zip Code provided by each organization to tie them into one of seven regions defined by the Minnesota Initiative Foundations.
What if I think my organization is on the wrong Leaderboard?
We're sorry if you think you should be listed somewhere else! We use information provided by each organization to define these groupings. These grouped Bragging Rights Leaderboards have no prize money associated with them this year, and since Leaderboards are active only on Give to the Max Day, we are unable to change your organization's placement during the event. We apologize!
